The UFC boss has said that he has not yet come to terms with the two fighters.
by Darragh Culhane · Irish MirrorDana White has admitted that no deal has been done between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler but is still hopeful the bout will take place in June.
The fight was initially announced at the start of 2023 but has never truly been confirmed and no fight date has been announced.
It is however likely that the two fighters will meet at the end of June in Las Vegas but no deal has been confirmed, White admits.
With landmark pay-per-view UFC 300 taking place this week, White told reporters that no contracts have been signed and that there will be no surprise announcement this weekend.
While also joking about a recent post from Conor McGregor that saw the UFC star pose in a photo with a man dressed up as a Teletubby apparently confirming the bout, White said: "I saw the post. I don't know what the Teletubby means, but it could be. Hopefully, that's what we want to do.
"I can honestly sit here and tell you that we do not have a deal done for the Conor fight
"I know there are a lot of rumblings and people expect the place to go black and some big f**king announcement.
"They're expecting them to walk out. It's all internet bullsh*t."
McGregor has not fought since July 2021 when he suffered a horror leg break against Dustin Poirier. The Dubliner has lost three of his last four fights and has recorded just one victory since 2016.
