UFC 300 PPV buys: ‘Pereira vs. Hill’ trending to hit one million mark, crack all-time gate list
by Jesse Holland, https://www.facebook.com/MMAmania · MMAmania.comUFC 300 is shaping up to be one of the biggest UFC events in history.
The “Pereira vs. Hill” pay-per-view (PPV) card, which takes place this Sat. night (April 13, 2024) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, is expected to hit one million ESPN+ PPV buys and finish third on the promotion’s all-time gate list with $16.5 million, behind UFC 205 and UFC 229, both headlined by former two-division champion Conor McGregor.
That's according to Sports Business Journal.
By comparison, UFC 100 pulled 1.6 million PPV buys, while UFC 200 finished with 1.3 million. Both cards featured heavyweight smashing machine and pro wrestling attraction Brock Lesnar, though UFC 200 might have performed even better had it retained its original headliner, Jon Jones, who was bounced after bombing his pre-fight drug test.
