I looked at how Bournemouth vs Man United may pan out and you won't believe who matchwinner was
Manchester United make the trip to the south coast later today, with Erik ten Hag's side facing Bournemouth in the Premier League
by Lewis Barton · Manchester Evening NewsManchester United will continue their push for a Champions League spot when they take on Bournemouth in the Premier League later today.
After a strong start to 2024, United's hopes of a Champions League spot have faded in recent weeks, with Erik ten Hag's side having won just one of their last six Premier League games. Goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo earned United a point in a 2-2 draw against Liverpool in their last outing, but they will be desperate for three points when they take on Bournemouth next.
Ahead of the weekend, United were 11 points off the Premier League top four, so they must start winning games while hoping the teams above them can drop a few points as well. The last meeting between United and Bournemouth saw Ten Hag's side beaten 3-0 at Old Trafford, a result that United fans will be desperate to forget.

We simulated Bournemouth vs Manchester United to get a score prediction
To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 24 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions. We predict that the hosts could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Neto; Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kelly; Christie, Cook; Kluivert, Scott, Outarra; Solanke.
We predict that United could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Kambwala, Maguire, Dalot; Casemiro, Mainoo; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.
The hosts defended well in the first half, with United being limited to long-range efforts. A lapse in concentration just before the break saw Ten Hag's side almost go behind when Casemiro played a blind back pass to Andre Onana, but after rounding the 'keeper, Dominic Solanke could only hit the side netting from a tight angle.
United introduced Sofyan Amrbat, Mason Mount, and Antony on the hour mark as Ten Hag looked to gain an advantage, and the triple sub worked as United controlled possession and created some dangerous chances. Marcus Rashford should've made it 1-0 in the 88th minute when he somehow missed the target from five yards out, but his blushes were spared in the 94th minute as Amrabat grabbed the winner with the last kick of the game.

Bournemouth half-cleared a United corner to Mount on the edge of the box, and the Englishman's ambitious shot from range was blocked by Lewis Cook, but only into the path of Amrabat. With no time to react, the Moroccan fired a first-time shot at goal, and he caught it sweetly as the ball flew into the top corner to win the game late on.
