Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are working on two brand new Netflix shows, one of which will give 'unprecedented access to the world of professional polo'
by Scarlett O'Toole · The MirrorPrince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to release two brand new Netflix shows, despite fears the pair were at risk of losing their partnership with the streaming giant.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a five-year deal with Netflix worth an estimated £80million after stepping down from the Royal Family in 2020. Not much had been shared about the couple's next TV plans, leading fans to worry about whether the contract would be renewed.
However, it's now been announced they will be producing two nonfiction shows, focusing on lifestyle and polo. Harry's friend Nacho Figueras has revealed just how long the Duke of Sussex has been working on his new polo show.

Nacho confirmed that he is involved in the forthcoming polo series, which was filming at the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Challenge. "We've been working on this for a long time," he told Hello! magazine.
Nacho added: "It was always Harry's dream and passion to share the world, what it takes to be a really competitive polo player and show polo at the highest level." Harry's polo show will give "unprecedented access to the world of professional polo" and the US Open Polo Championship in Florida, Netflix said.
Both are still in the early stages of production, but release dates are expected to be announced in the coming months. "Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level," Netflix said in a statement shared with Deadline.
Harry's show will be produced by Boardwalk Pictures, who have also released shows such as Chef's Table and Pepsi, Where's My Jet?. Miloš Balać, who has previously worked on Welcome to Wrexham, will serve as showrunner.
The other show in production will be fronted by Meghan and will "celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship." It will be produced by Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation, which has previously worked on The D'Amelio Show.
Leah Hariton will serve as showrunner with Michael Steed. The Duchess of Sussex will be the executive producer alongside Chanel Pysnik, Hariton and Aaron Saidman and Eli Holzman.
