Manchester City broke the deadlock after just two minutes after a bizarre deflection saw the ball arrow into the back of the Luton Town net.

Manchester City are on the hunt to regain their spot at the summit of the Premier League table with Luton the first side standing in their way.

Pep Guardiola’s side is expected to walk through the recently promoted side and that’s exactly how the game started.

Moments after the game kicked off, Erling Haaland found himself in an advantageous position inside the area, his shot took a deflection off of Daiki Hashioka, deflecting into the back of his own net.
