by · Bangalore Mirror

In a shocking incident early Sunday morning, two unidentified individuals fired shots at Bollywood actor, Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartment, in Mumbai’s Bandra area.

Police officials confirmed that the two individuals, who were on a motorbike, fired rounds at the actor’s residence at around 5 am. According to the statement, three rounds were fired outside the actor’s house.

The Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch swiftly responded to the scene to initiate an investigation into the matter. “Today at around 5 am, two unidentified people opened fire outside the house of actor Salman Khan in Bandra. Police have received information about 3 rounds of firing. Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch has reached the spot for investigation,” stated a Mumbai police official.

Following the incident, security was heightened outside the actor’s residence, with a forensic team also present at the scene. A video released online saw a member of the forensic team circling what appeared to be a bullet mark on the actor’s build wall. With the help of one of Salman’s security guards, the man was seen climbing a ladder to mark out a hole left in the wall where a bullet hit. He was seen measuring the circled area and taking photographs of the same.

Footage from the site saw security personnel helping the team collect evidence from the site. Many noticed the road outside the actor’s house was marked with squares, presumably where the evidence of the shootout was left behind.

According to reports, police authorities are currently examining CCTV footage from the area and the surrounding locality in efforts to identify the perpetrators. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and investigations are ongoing to ascertain the circumstances around the incident.
