All eyes are on the T20 World Cup Super 12 clash between Afghanistan and New Zealand tonight as India might have a chance to reach the semi-final. It heavily depends on tonight’s encounter in Abu Dhabi. India don't have their fate in control but technically speaking they are not out of contention for a semi-final spot. Like millions of Indian cricket fans, Amitabh Bachchan, too, is eagerly looking forward to the Afghanistan-New Zealand match.

The megastar took to his Twitter handle to urge the Indian fans not to lose hope as there’s a lot to celebrate. He tweeted, “Irrespective of what the results of tomorrow's NZ v AFG game are in the T20 ICC World Cup ..remember this .. we have scored the highest total, till date, in the tournament; KL Rahul made the fastest 50; and we defeated the opposing team, in a record 6+ overs…”

Only England, Australia and Pakistan have sealed their place in the semi-finals so far as it has become a 3-way race for the final spot in the last four of T20 World Cup. New Zealand are hot favourites to grab the remaining spot because a win on Sunday will secure their qualification while Afghanistan and India will have to wait for other results. Also, India will have to beat Namibia on Monday.
