Over 2L Covid vaccine doses reach Raipur

nMore than 2.23 lakh coronavirus vaccines reached Raipur on Thursday.

The vaccines landed at the Swami Vivekanand airport here by Indigo's Mumbai-Raipur flight at 1:40 pm, Raipur airport authorities said.

The plane which brought the vaccine was given a water  cannon salute at the airport.

According to the Health Department, more than 1.67 healthcare workers in Chhattisgarh have been vaccinated with the first dose of Covid    vaccine by February 8, which is more than 61 percent of the state’s target.

Covid vaccination is being done from 9 am to 5 pm on four days a week.
