It won’t be wrong to say that Pakistan have surprised a lot of cricket experts with their performances. They sprung a surprise in their very first game after beating India by 10 wickets. Babar Azam and Co. went on to win their next game against New Zealand to make a strong statement and tell everyone that the first win was not just a fluke.

Their disciplined bowling attack and talented opening pair have been at the heart of the victories. Be it pace or spin, Pakistan aced in all departments. Babar Azam and M Rizwan have done the bulk of the scoring. Having said that, the middle-order has made a substantial contribution as well.

They have a great finisher in Asif Ali, who has played two match-winning cameos in the super-12 stage. The likes of M Hafeez, Fakhar Zaman and Shoaib Malik are all amongst the runs. Pakistan is all pretty sorted in all departments and you expect them to win the game on Sunday pretty easily.

Given how Scotland played in the first round of ICC T20 World Cup 2021, one expected them to earn at least one or two wins in the tournament. However, that couldn’t be the case. Scotland currently find themselves at the bottom of the points table, having failed to win a single game in 4 matches. They will be playing their final match of the tournament on Sunday.

Scotland played their last match against India on Friday. Kyle Coetzer and Co. succumbed to an impressive bowling display from the Men in Blue. Scotland were bundled out for just 85 runs in the first innings. George Munsey top-scored for the team, scoring 24 off 19 balls. Michael Leask also played a vital 12-ball 21-run knock.

Their best bet, George Munsey hasn’t had a great tournament with the bat. He failed to convert the starts into big scores. Skipper, Kyle Coetzer also had a similar case.

Richie Berrington, who starred with the bat in the first round of the tournament proved out to be a flop. Ahead of their last game against Pakistan, they would look to exhibit a strong performance with both bat and ball.
