Terry Bradshaw puts Aaron Rodgers on blast: 'You lied to everyone'

NFL hall of fame quarterback and TV analyst Terry Bradshaw ripped Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers for his vaccine status after the Packers quarterback tested positive for the virus.

Rodgers "lied to everyone," Bradshaw said Sunday, declaring Rodgers's actions allude to the nation's division over the vaccine.

"We are a divided nation politically. We are a divided nation on the COVID-19 whether or not to take the vaccine," Bradshaw said. "And unfortunately, we've got players that pretty much think only about themselves, and I'm extremely disappointed in the actions of Aaron Rodgers."

Bradshaw also offered the Super Bowl champion some advice.

"It would have been nice if he'd just come to the Naval Academy and learned how to be honest. Learned not to lie. Because that's what you did, Aaron; you lied to everyone," he said.

The Packers quarterback tested positive for COVID-19 last week, according to a report .

Rodgers had stated that he was "immunized" earlier in the season, but, after he tested positive, he conceded that he was not vaccinated against the virus, the report stated.

He had been following league protocols for players who are vaccinated and is under investigation by the NFL, according to the report.

Rodgers is allergic to a component of the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines, he said.

He had previously discussed his status with Joe Rogan, a podcaster and UFC commentator, and had undergone a regimen of medications to mitigate his risk of infection, Rodgers said.

Given his vaccination status, Rodgers is in "the crosshairs of the woke mob," he said.

"So, before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I think I would like to set the record straight on so many of the blatant lies that are out there about myself," he said.

He is a "critical thinker," not an "anti-vax flat-earther," who is currently the subject of "a witch hunt," according to Rodgers.
