The topic: During Pat McAfee and A.J. Hawk’s  interview heard around the sports world with Aaron Rodgers, McAfee and Hawk got it mostly right.

1. The best thing the duo did was shut up during the spot on “The Pat McAfee Show” on SiriusXM and YouTube. The point of any interview is to reveal as close to your subject’s truth as you can. You do that by letting someone talk, not by constantly interrupting when it is not called for. McAfee and Hawk listened, and we learned maybe more about Rodgers in those nearly 50 minutes than we did in the last two decades.

2. You could argue that McAfee and Hawk could’ve challenged Rodgers’ more, and there is a point there. Rodgers spouted a lot of incorrect information about COVID vaccines and his decision not to receive a shot. However, if Rodgers is going to listen to Joe Rogan for medical guidance and then, in turn, fans listen to Rodgers, I’m not sure challenging him would have helped people understand the vaccines better.
