NFL World Reacts To Aaron Rodgers Partnership News

by · The Spun

Aaron Rodgers‘ decision to open up about his COVID-19 situation appears to have cost himself a notable partnership.

Earlier this week, Rodgers tested positive, getting ruled out for Sunday’s game against Kansas City. The Packers quarterback has since admitted to being unvaccinated, further discussing his decision with Pat McAfee.

Rodgers’ interview with McAfee went viral, as the Packers quarterback attempted to explain his reasoning for going unvaccinated.

Now, Rodgers has reportedly lost a partnership.

Prevea Health has ended its nine-year relationship with the Packers quarterback.

“Aaron has been a partner of Prevea Health, serving as a spokesperson and supporting the health care organizations health and wellness initiatives throughout Wisconsin, since 2012,” the statement explains. “Prevea Health remains deeply committed to protecting its patients, staff, providers and communities amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes encouraging and helping all eligible populations to become vaccinated against COVID-19 to prevent the virus from further significantly impacting lives and livelihoods.”

Prevea Health had extended its relationship with Rodgers for four years following 2019. Now, the longtime partnership is over.

While Rodgers has the freedom to do as he pleases, the company has the right to cancel its partnership.

It’s possible that more could be coming, too. Many are wondering about Rodgers’ relationship with the insurance company, State Farm.

It’s been a very interesting week for Rodgers, that is for sure.

The Packers, meanwhile, are set to take on the Chiefs on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. E.T.
