Health workers should take second dose of Covid vaccine: Dr Dutta

All health workers should take the second dose of corona vaccine without hesitation as it helps to create antibodies to fight the virus, the Dean of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College here, Dr Vishnu Dutta, said on Thursday.

Dr Dutta along with other doctors received the second dose of the vaccine on Thursday. He said that on January 20 he received the first dose of vaccine and took the second dose after completing the waiting period.

“Those who have received the first dose of corona vaccine should (take) the second dose. After receiving the second dose, I have not faced any problem,” he said in an official press release.

Doctors, nursing staff and other health workers in medical colleges have got the first dose of Covid vaccine.
