Ahead of the Australian Open Men's Final 2021, Daniil Medvedev said, "I know that to beat him (Djokovic), you need to just show your best tennis, be at your best physically, maybe four or five hours, and be at your best mentally, maybe for five hours. I would say to win a Slam, especially against somebody (like) Novak, is already a big motivation, and I don't think there is anything that can make it bigger."

13:40 IST: Djokovic and Medvedev have already been on song en route their journey to the final. While Djokovic defeated  A Karatsev (6-3, 6-4, 6-2) in the semi-finals, Medvedev got rid of Stefanos Tsitsipas (6-4, 6-2, 7-5) to enter the summit clash and eye his maiden Grand Slam title.
