OJ Simpson still owed more than $100M to Ron Goldman’s family: report

· New York Post

OJ Simpson still owed Ron Goldman’s family more than $100 million when the former football Hall of Famer died on Wednesday — with Goldman’s family still adamant about collecting their due, according to a new report.

Although Simpson, 76, was acquitted for the murder of Goldman and ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson in 1995, he was found liable in civil court two years later for more than $33 million for the murders.

Goldman family attorney David Cook told the Daily Mail that Simpson had failed to pay the amount over the decades, with the sum ballooning to more than $100 million.

“We have to start over here,” Cook said in response to Simpson’s death. “We’re going to work on that. There might be something out there.”
