Conor McGregor's comeback fight is finally official after the UFC announced he will fight Michael Chandler at UFC 303.

UFC legend McGregor has been sidelined since breaking his leg in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in July 2021, but is set to return almost three yeears later against Michael Chandler. The UFC rivals coached against each other on season 31 of the promotion's reality TV show The Ultimate Fighter when their fight was announced last year.

Chandler has also been patiently waiting for the fight since he was tapped out by Poirier in November 2022. The former Bellator MMA world champion has put together a record of 2-3 since joining the UFC three years ago and will look for his third win in the promotion by beating McGregor. McGregor vs Chandler takes place at UFC 303 on June 29 in Las Vegas to headline the promotion's International Fight Week. Tickets are not yet on sale for the event, but will be available to buy on Ticketmaster once they are released.
