Nigerians woke up on Wednesday to the news that armed bandits have invaded another school and abducted several students and staff.

This time, it was the Government Science College Kagara located in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.

As earlier reported by Naija News, the students and teachers were abducted at about 2:00 am on Wednesday when the bandits stormed the school.

The bandits started shooting sporadically and in the process, a student was killed while some others sustained gunshots.

The State Governor, Abubakar Bello Sani later confirmed that 27 students, three staff, and 12 members of a family were kidnapped during the daring raid.

Bello has also officially briefed President Muhammadu Buhari on the Kagara school abduction that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday.

The Governor met with the President at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja on Wednesday evening as confirmed by a presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad.

The president in his reaction has dispatched military troops and police to rescue students and staff of the Federal Government Science College in Kagara, Niger State who were abducted by gunmen.
He instructed them to make sure that the students and other hostages were rescued without delay.

This online news platform has now obtained photos of what Government Science College Kagara looks like.

As observed from the pictures, many of the buildings within the school compound are dilapidated and in a total state of disrepair.

The perimeter fence of the school is broken down in many areas and the abductors would have found it easy to gain entrance and exit the compound after their operation.

Below are images from the school itself.
