Save big on these Nintendo Switch bundles

Pick up a new Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart 8: Deluxe for less than £300

by · Eurogamer.net

The recent release of the Nintendo Switch OLED combined with the run-up to this year's Black Friday event means there are some great deals on Nintendo Switch bundles right now. If you don't fancy waiting until Black Friday to get your hands on a Nintendo Switch, you can make the most of the deals available now to pick up a new console at a discounted price.

Amazon's early bird Black Friday deals are now live and there are some decent OG Switch bundles included - and in the best colour variant, too. You can pick up a brand new Neon red/blue console with either Pokemon: Let's go, Pikachu! or Mario Kart 8: Deluxe for £299.99. If you don't fancy either of those titles and fancy some co-op fun with the new Mario Party Superstars instead, that'll cost you just five pounds more.

Now that the Switch OLED is out, the original Switch consoles have been discounted to £259 direct from Nintendo and from retailers including Argos, Currys PC World, GAME and more. This means you may not even have to rely on bundles to pop up in this year's Black Friday sale to grab a bargain if the game you want is already discounted. As an example, you can currently pick up a Nintendo Switch Neon red/blue console with Animal Crossing: New Horizons for just £279.99 from Currys PC World. You can also build your own bundles at Nintendo Store UK.

Best Nintendo Switch bundle deals US

The US seems to have a lot more stock when it comes to limited edition consoles, which means you can grab the Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing edition console for just $299 from most retailers. This is one of the fanciest-looking limited edition designs we've seen and also includes a download code for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Another deal worth keeping your eye on as it's not available yet is the Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8: Deluxe bundle. Nintendo recently announced its Black Friday deals and the biggest highlight is a neon red/blue Nintendo Switch console with a downloadable code for Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and a 3-month Nintendo Online membership for just $299. This promotion starts on November 21 at retailers including Amazon, Target, and BestBuy. We'll be sure to update this page once the deal is live.

As far as getting the best value for your money right now, we'd recommend grabbing the Animal Crossing edition Switch or holding out for the Mario Kart bundle as the consoles on their own cost $299 from most retailers.

Best Nintendo Switch Lite bundle deals UK

There's a great selection of discounts on colour variants when it comes to Nintendo Switch Lite bundles, and while the prices aren't falling as fast as the original Switch model, there are still some decent deals to be had.

Right now, Currys PC World has the best Switch Lite bundles available. You can grab a Switch Lite (coral) with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for just £214.99 with the code GAMINGFND3. You can use the same code to knock a fiver off other bundles which means you can grab a Switch Lite (Blue) with Minecraft for £204.99 or with Mario Kart for £224.99.

Over at Amazon, you can essentially build your own bundles as they've knocked £10 off some of the best Switch games, which means you can grab first-party titles including Animal Crossing, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, Luigi's Mansion 3 and Super Mario Party for £39.99. Combine that with a Switch Lite console in grey for £194.99 and they're not bad prices, although the Mario Kart bundle works out slightly more expensive in comparison to Currys PC World.

GAME has some reasonably priced deals available too. You can grab a Switch Lite in various colours with either Pokemon Sword/Shield, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, Pokemon Snap, Super Mario 3D World and Bowser's Fury, and other titles for £229.99 - just bear in mind you've got postage to pay on top of that, but if you're in it for the points, it might be the better choice, especially if you've paid for a GAME Elite card.

Best Nintendo Switch Lite bundle deals US

The US fares worse when it comes to deals on Switch Lite bundles. There's nothing really worth shouting about and right now, it works out cheaper to grab a Switch Lite on its own and pick up the games individually. Amazon, GameStop and BestBuy have a decent selection of colour variants in stock, so grab one of those as there are no Switch Lite deals confirmed for Nintendo's Black Friday sale, and grab the games when they go on sale for $39.99 starting November 21.

Best Nintendo Switch OLED bundle deals UK and US

At the time of writing, the Switch OLED is officially out of stock everywhere in the UK. We'd recommend checking our Nintendo Switch OLED stock update page which we'll be updating when retailers get more stock.

The situation is the same in the US although it looks like Walmart has a limited number of the white edition consoles in stock. You can check if the Nintendo Switch OLED is in stock from a Walmart near you here.
