Jose Mourinho has now been in charge of Tottenham for around 15 months since being appointed in November 2019.

Spurs replaced a talented young head coach in Mauricio Pochettino, but also one who had failed to lift a trophy at the club. Mourinho, who has won major honours at every club he has managed, seemed destined to change that.

15 months on and Spurs may not have lifted a trophy as of yet, but they are in a Carabao Cup Final and the knockouts of the Europa League this season.

Despite this, the Daily Mail have reported that the Tottenham board are concerned about the club’s current form, with some members calling for Mourinho to be sacked. However, the general consensus is that Jose will have until the end of the season to change things.

The report also adds that Spurs have their eyes on both Julian Nagelsmann and Brendan Rodgers as potential replacements.

Some Spurs players are said to have grown ‘irritated’ by Mourinho’s management but Danel Levy does not want to sack him due to a high severance package.
