After the stirring firing incident outside Salman Khan's home in Mumbai on Sunday, some reports claimed that the actor's father, Salim Khan, is considering moving out of their Bandra home. However, a source told IndiaToday.in that there is no truth to these rumours and the superstar, along with his family, will continue staying at Galaxy Apartments

Security outside his house has been increased amid an investigation into the firing incident.

Earlier today, two unidentified bike-borne persons fired four rounds of bullets outside Salman Khan's home in Mumbai's Bandra. Nobody was injured in the incident.

In the wake of the firing incident, reports emerged that Salim Khan was contemplating moving out of their Bandra house. However, sources told IndiaToday.in that there is no such plan or any truth to the rumours. Salman Khan will continue to stay at Galaxy Apartments with no intention of changing his house.

The firing incident has left the Khan family concerned, but cops met and assured them that those behind the firing would be nabbed. Salman Khan’s security is also being increased.

Despite the death threats looming large, Salman Khan has been travelling and completing all his professional commitments. The actor even greeted his fans on the occasion of Eid.

Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the incident in a social media post. Anmol Bishnoi lives in the US.

The crime branch, local police and forensic teams visited the spot for an investigation. The forensic team found the bullet casings that were discharged outside Salman Khan's residence.

The Bandra Police registered a case against two unknown persons over the firing outside Salman Khan's home. Mumbai Police DCP Raj Tilak Roushan said more than 15 teams have been formed to catch the suspects.
