Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could be limited to selected regions

Last month, it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was spotted online. It could mean that the device would launch soon, which is backed up by another rumour about a January 2022 reveal. Unfortunately, this model might not be available in many countries including Malaysia.

According to Ddaily (via @Frontron), the Galaxy S21 FE will only be available in certain countries and regions. One of those regions would be Europe, though the countries included were not specified. But since the device has been certified by the US FCC, we can expect it to be launched in the US too. Surprisingly, Samsung has no plans of releasing the phone in Korea.

Besides that bit of news, the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to have a lower price than the standard Galaxy S21 due to lower specs. For reference, the latter comes with a Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 4000mAh battery, and a triple camera at the back (12MP+64MP+12MP). But for the former, Samsung might opt for a Snapdragon 870 chipset, or go for a smaller battery, smaller display, and other similar downgrades.

Of course, that's just our guess on what Samsung could change. What do you think Samsung would tweak to match the price? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
