Tottenham predicted team vs Everton: Ben Davies starts as Antonio Conte faces Oliver Skipp call

Here is the team we believe Antonio Conte will start with in Tottenham's Premier League clash away at Everton on Sunday afternoon

Antonio Conte returns to life in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon with his Tottenham team making the trip to Everton.

Only appointed in the Spurs hotseat five days ago, the 52-year-old already has one win to his name after helping the Lilywhites beat Vitesse 3-2 in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.

Attention now switches to league football as the head coach aims to get his team back up the table after two successive Premier League defeats.

So who will Conte plump for in his team that takes on the Toffees at Goodison Park?

Switching to a 3-4-3 formation in midweek, the boss is likely to keep faith with his system on Merseyside but he does have a couple of decisions to make in terms of his players.

Ben Davies was handed a surprise start on the left of a back three against Vitesse and his place could potentially be at risk with Davinson Sanchez doing well off the bench when Spurs were trying to hold on for all three points.

However, Tottenham have a lack of left-sided centre-backs and that may see the experienced Welshman, who went close to scoring vs Vitesse, remain in the team to help give the backline more balance alongside Cristian Romero and Eric Dier.

Elsewhere, Harry Winks also impressed off the bench in Thursday's victory and he has given his boss something to think about, especially with Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg not at the top of their game.

Tanguy Ndombele could also possibly be an option to come into midfield as the team look for a bit of creativity to help feed the front three of Lucas Moura, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

A game Everton also need to win having lost their last three games in the Premier League, Conte knows that his team are going to be in for a very tough fixture against Rafael Benitez's men.

"I remember that I lost my last game in the Premier League against Benitez," recalled the Italian. "For sure, our expectation is to have a tough game because Everton is a really good team, Goodison Park is not an easy place to play.

"At the same time, we want to show, to try to improve the result, especially for our place in the table. It won’t be easy.
