Antonio Conte has made no changes to his Tottenham team for this afternoon's Premier League clash against Everton.

Taking charge of Spurs for the very first time on Thursday evening for the Europa Conference League showdown at home to Vitesse Arnhem, the Italian switched formation and opted for a 3-4-3 system to take on the Dutch side.

Now coming up against the Toffees at Goodison Park, Conte has persisted with the formation for his first game back in the top flight.

Ben Davies, who started on the left of three centre-backs against Vitesse, keeps his place in the side for the encounter and plays alongside Cristian Romero and Eric Dier at the back.

Despite Harry Winks impressing in the final 17 minutes of the European tie, Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg remain in midfield.

Joe Rodon and Dane Scarlett drop out of the squad completely from Thursday.

Facing Rafael Benitez in his last Premier League game as Newcastle United beat Chelsea 3-0 in May 2018, Conte will be hoping for better luck this afternoon when he comes up against the Spaniard once again.

"I remember that I lost my last game in the Premier League against Benitez," recalled the Italian. "For sure, our expectation is to have a tough game because Everton is a really good team, Goodison Park is not an easy place to play.

"At the same time, we want to show, to try to improve the result, especially for our place in the table. It won’t be easy.
