West Ham United 'value Jarrod Bowen above £40m, amid Liverpool links'

West Ham United have reportedly increased their valuation of forward Jarrod Bowen, amid interest from Liverpool.

The 24-year-old excelled for the Hammers and provided two assists in their 3-2 victory at home against the Reds on Sunday, moving David Moyes's men up to third in the Premier League table.

Football Insider reports that an offer in the region of £40m would have tempted West Ham to cash in on the forward last summer; however, the club now believe that his valuation has risen significantly after an impressive run of form this campaign.

West Ham are under no pressure to sell Bowen, who moved to the London Stadium from Championship outfit Hull City in January 2020 for a fee worth around £18m.

Jurgen Klopp is believed to be an admirer of the Englishman and one report has previously suggested that Liverpool could make a move for him in January, while Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City have also been credited with an interest in the forward.

Bowen is one of two West Ham players, along with teammate Pablo Fornals, to have featured in all 17 matches across all competitions so far this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists.
