Bill Gates met Elon Musk at Breakthrough Prize ceremony

The ceremony brought together Microsoft co-founder Gates, tech mogul Elon Musk, among other business tycoons with Hollywood's A-list, including Kim Kardashian, Margot Robbie, and Olivia Wilde.
Gates arrived at the ceremony accompanied by Hurd, a philanthropist who was married to Oracle CEO Mark Hurd for 30 years until his passing in 2019.
Musk, clad in a classic suit with a bow tie, struck a whacky pose for photos, throwing his hands in the air and looking upward.
The glittering event, held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, California, celebrates major scientific achievements of the year.
Founded in 2012 by Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google, and Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, among others, the Breakthrough Prize ceremony has since been dubbed the 'Oscars of Science,' with stars gracing the red carpet each year.
Those who have made significant accomplishments in mathematics, physics, and science are awarded $3 million annually.
