All eyes have been on Aintree racecourse today as the final day of the Grand National gets underway.
And it appears the 'unofficial rule' for Aintree 2024 is everyone wearing bright and bold colours. The ECHO are bringing you live updates at Grand National Day and we've noticed two colours dominating the fashion at Aintree.
Every year there seems to be a stand out trend that people are wearing and this year the ECHO first spotted a lot of one specific colour. A lot of people opted for blue colours in various shades, including pastel blue, navy blue and sky blue on the opening day and Ladies Day.

And on Grand National Day today, there has been a sea of red and pinks in all different shades and styles. Every year, racegoers spend weeks, even months planning a show-stopping outfit complete with glamorous hair and makeup to finish it all off and this year has proved no different.
Yesterday, pink was one of the colours worn by one of the Ladies Day Style Awards winners and on the racecourse today, some have also opted to accessorise and add a pop of orange - the colour of choice we noticed on Grand National Day in 2023. You can see many racegoers take on red and pinks in our gallery below.
