Ant and Dec bid a heartfelt 'emotional' farewell to Saturday Night Takeaway as they wrapped up the final episode of the show's 20th series.
The beloved Geordie presenters, Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, have decided to take a break from the hit ITV1 entertainment show, stating last year that it felt like the "perfect time to pause for a little while and catch our breath".
Kicking off the two-hour finale, singer Craig David set the tone with an energetic performance outside the studio, entertaining the gathered crowds. Inside, McPartlin addressed the audience, hinting at a poignant end to the series by saying it was "going to be emotional".

The star-studded lineup included an appearance by Girls Aloud, gearing up for their reunion tour, alongside renowned scientist Brian Cox, with the duo also dishing out surprises and prizes to those in the studio and watching at home.
Celebrity guests such as Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Dermot O'Leary, Alison Hammond, and Holly Willoughby added to the excitement of the evening.
Having first met on the set of the teen drama Byker Grove, Ant and Dec have been a dynamic duo for over three decades and launched Saturday Night Takeaway back in 2002.
The programme, which has been honoured with several Bafta and National Television Awards (NTA), took a hiatus in 2009 but made a triumphant return in 2013.
In addition to Saturday Night Takeaway, the pair are known for hosting other popular ITV shows, including I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, Britain's Got Talent, and Limitless Win.
