The most stylish day in Liverpool's calendar took place today with Ladies Day at Aintree Racecourse.
Every year, racegoers spend weeks, even months, planning a show-stopping outfit complete with glamorous hair and makeup to finish it all off. This year has proved no different. Yesterday, for the first day of the Grand National 2024, the bold new trend was women opting for suits instead of dresses and blazer style ensembles.
With fashion trends changing year on year, we've seen popular choices and outfits that broke with tradition. This year, River Island has been announced as the official style partner of Ladies Day at the Randox Grand National Festival 2024 and ECHO fashion reporter Emily Sleight helped crown the winner.
