by James Rodger, https://www.facebook.com/jamesrodgerjournalist · Birmingham LivePrince William and Kate Middleton reportedly have "no plans" to meet with Prince Harry on his next visit to the UK. Kate, who is battling cancer, won't meet with the Duke of Sussex - and neither will husband Prince William - it has been claimed.
The decision has been made as they decide to "focus on positivity". The Duke of Sussex is due to return to the UK in May for an Invictus Games event but a source said that Kate and William are "focusing on recovery" as mum-of-three Kate undergoes treatment for cancer.
Harry's wife Meghan Markle is not expected to travel with Prince Harry due to security concerns in the UK. There are also “deliberations” over whether the Duchess of Sussex and the couple’s two young children, Archie and Lilibet, will be accompanying the duke on the trip.

Harry is due to attend the Invictus Games’ 10th Anniversary Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8. A source said: “Harry is due in London early next month, but there are no plans as of yet [for William and Kate] to meet with him while he’s over. He’s reached out and sent best wishes, but meeting might be a little premature.”
A source told OK! Magazine: “William and Kate are very consciously focusing on positivity and recovery.” Royal commentator Jennie Bond said: “I think this is pretty unlikely that Meghan will join him at the service given Harry’s concerns about safety and the ongoing family tensions.
“I don’t think her presence would make any reconciliation moves easier. I think she would, rightly, be nervous about the reception she might get from any public gathered outside the cathedral.” The tension was sparked last year when Harry released his tell-all memoir Spare.
Back in 2021, two years on from Megxit, the Duke also sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
