Meghan Markle joins husband Harry for Netflix polo shoot in Palm Beach

Meghan Markle traded her stilettos for $760 Hermes flip-flops and breezy linens one day after being mocked for her impractical on-field attire at a charity polo match in Miami, Florida.

The Duchess, 42, was seen in Palm Beach this weekend as she joined her husband Prince Harry for his new Netflix show about the genteel world of polo.

She ditched her elegant white sundress and towering stilettos for a more casual outfit for Saturday's shoot, donning a light blue linen button-down shirt and breezy white pants.

Completing her ensemble were matching cream-colored Hermes Oran flat sandals, priced at $760 on the French designer brand's website.

The day before Saturday's sighting, Harry and Meghan were the main attraction as they attended a charity game at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge at the swank Grand Champions Polo Club.

Appearing relaxed and at ease, the couple was joined by close friends and a dozen-strong Netflix film crew for the new production.

The Prince cut a low-key figure in black jeans and a grey t-shirt - but his arrival was given away by a Netflix film crew who were on hand to shoot his interactions with the awe-struck players.

He was joined the Valiente team behind the scenes as they prepared to take on Coca-Cola at the National Polo Center Saturday.

The couple mingled with spectators and smiled for photos before Harry saddled up to take on a team captained by his dashing Argentine pal, Nacho Figueras.

Meghan was spotted leaning on a friend's shoulder before giving an adoring hug to their daughter.

The carefully choreographed event raised funds for the Sentebale organization which the Prince co-founded in 2006 to help kids battling HIV in Africa.

It was also a chance to begin filming for Harry’s new documentary offering ‘unprecedented access to the world of professional polo’, one of two new projects the Sussexes have in the works.

Meghan was joined at the $1,600-a-ticket event by her close friend Serena Williams, and dressed to impress as she donned an $800 dress from California designer Heidi Merrick on Friday.

The royal, who has worn the designer before, paired the flowing white sundress with a statement bow and cut out back with a $3,300 Maison Valentino bag.

Surrounded by her camera crew, Meghan took a risk in towering heels on the grassy terrain - much to the dismay of online critics who argued her choice of footwear was inappropriate for the occasion.

While Harry competed in his regular polo attire, he had arrived at the event hand-in-hand with the Duchess in a crisp summer look.

He opted for a pair of cream trousers, a pale grey jacket, and a pale blue shirt, while donning some slip-on tan shoes.

A camera crew followed the couple’s every move as Harry scored a goal then stepped up the podium to receive the trophy - and a tender kiss from Meghan.

They were back at it Saturday as around a dozen crew members arrived at US National Polo Center to get in position to film a US Open quarterfinal between the Coca-Cola and Valiente teams.

The new show will be produced by Miloš Balać, the Emmy-award winning filmmaker behind the Ryan Reynolds sports doc Welcome to Wrexham.

The Prince was flanked by two guards in plain clothes but looked relaxed and engrossed by the pre-game team talk before the two sides took to the field.

Harry was joined on the sidelines by Nacho, the pair looking on with interest as the crew sent up a drone to get aerial footage of the game.

The Prince was taking a keen interest in the production side of things, watching back segments of the footage on a monitor.

He paused briefly to pet a cute Jack Russell dog and take a video call, passing the phone to Nacho to say hi.
