A huge SWAT raid consisting of a convoy of vehicles stopped at the mother-in-law of one missing Kansas woman arresting both her and her boyfriend.

As the hunt for two mums who mysteriously vanished on the way to pick up one of their kids continues, it was reported that the pair are believed to have been shot with puddles of blood reportedly found outside the abandoned vehicle they had been travelling in.

The convoy of 20 police vehicles and SWAT trucks was seen stopping at the Oklahoma home of Tifany Machel Adams, 54, near the panhandle location where the car was found abandoned. Adams is the mother of Butler's estranged husband Wrangler Cole Rickman.

Adams, 54, and her boyfriend Tad Bert Cullum were arrested by Texas County Sheriff's deputies but no charges have been announced.

A total of four were arrested according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, one in Texas County and three in Cimarron County. The four, arrested and booked Saturday, were identified as Tad Bert Cullum, 43; Tifany Machel Adams, 54; Cole Earl Twombly, 50; and Cora Twombly, 44.

The pair never made it to their destination on Saturday, April 6. However, a car the pair had been traveling in was later found abandoned 1,000 feet off Oklahoma State Highway 95 in rural Texas County, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said in a Facebook post.

The couple were due to pick up Veronica's six-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son in Eva, Oklahoma, to celebrate her daughter's birthday, ABC 7 News reports. Jilian, a preacher's wife, had travelled with her from Elkhart in Kansas but the expected 16-mile trip stopped three miles short.

Veronica and Jilian had made the 45-minute drive from Hugoton to a gas station in Eva, near Four Corners in Oklahoma. However, the pair vanished with the car being found just three miles from where they were supposed to meet.

Authorities say the two women haven't been seen since the weekend and that the investigation “remains ongoing.” The Endangered Missing Advisory said: "They never made it to the pickup location. Their car was located abandoned on the side of the road."

Hunter Mckee, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Public Information Manager, told WKSN: "As of right now, as the investigation continues and we were requested, we’re unsure where these women are or what happened to them. That unknown is what has created it suspicious for us at this time."
