by Cathal Ryan · Irish MirrorIarnród Éireann have appealed to the public for information after a “lost little dog” turned up at Heuston Station on Friday night.
Just before 7:30pm last night, a “sweet dog” embarked on the Portlaoise to Heuston service, with staff at the busy train station jumping in to help the little dog, caring for it until its owner was located.

Unfortunately, the cute little dog had not been found overnight, leading the staff to make a comfy bed for the “lost little dog” in Heuston Station, but they are still hoping to reunite it with its owner tonight so it can sleep in its own bed.
In a follow-up post, adding a picture of the lost dog in a homemade bed, they wrote: “Is this your dog? We made a comfy overnight bed last night for this lost little dog in Heuston Station. Hoping to return it home to its owner and own bed for tonight.”
If you happen to know who might own this cute little dog last at Heuston, please contact Iarnród Éireann at (01) 836 6222.
