Nottingham A52 closure: Woman injured after 'concern for safety'

by Joel Moore · NottinghamshireLiveA woman has been taken to hospital with injuries after police received reports of a concern for safety on the A52 in Nottingham. The main road was closed in both directions near the Queen's Medical Centre on Sunday morning (April 14).
It was reopened at around 9.40am. Nottinghamshire Police said it received the reports of a concern for safety at 6am.
"A woman was taken to the QMC where she is being treated for her injuries," a spokesperson for the force said. "This has caused some road closures in the area. Officers would like to thank the public for their patience while the incident is being investigated."

Traffic was affected by the road closure earlier in the morning. Nottingham City Transport said some of its services would be affected, stating: "The road is expected to be closed for some time, with delays and disruption on Orange 35, 36 inevitable."
