Irish Rail have renewed their appeal for the owners of a four-legged stowaway who made his way to Dublin on a train from Portlaoise on Friday night.

The little dog, who arrived in Dublin on the 19.20 service from Portlaoise on Friday evening, April 12, is "making loads of new friends in Heuston Station", according to a social media post from Irish Rail.

They also shared a sweet picture of the pup's temporary accomodations at Heuston Station, where he has been spending his time in the care of railway staff.

"Hopefully, word reaches the owner soon," Irish Rail posted.
