Salman Khan's father Salim Khan reacts to firing incident outside their home

Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan, reacted to the recent firing incident outside their home. The veteran screenwriter has assured that there's 'nothing to worry'.

After the firing incident outside Salman Khan's house earlier on April 14, his father Salim Khan assured everyone that there was 'nothing to worry'. Earlier today, two individuals riding a motorcycle, whose identities remain unknown, fired four rounds outside Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai's Bandra. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan, has finally reacted to the shooting incident outside their home, Galaxy Apartment in Bandra.

He told CNN News 18, "There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry.”

In the wake of the firing incident, reports emerged that Salim Khan was contemplating moving out of their Bandra house. However, sources told IndiaToday.in that there is no such plan or any truth to the rumours. Salman Khan will continue to stay at Galaxy Apartments.

The firing incident has left the Khan family concerned. However, cops met them and assured that those behind the firing would be nabbed. Salman Khan’s security is also being increased.

Apart from Salim Khan, 'Main Aur Mrs Khanna' director and Salman Khan's neighbour, Prem Raj Soni shared an update on how the superstar is faring.

Soni told IndiaToday.in, "He's absolutely fine from what I know. Everything's being taken care of. Things are under control and there's nothing to worry about."

Soni stays in the same building as Salman Khan. When asked if it is a scary situation for the residents of the apartment, the 'Main Aur Mrs Khanna' director added, "It's rather worrying for all of us. But honestly, the authorities are taking care of it and we are all safe."

The Bandra Police filed a case against two unidentified individuals in connection with the shooting outside Salman Khan's residence. Mumbai Police DCP Raj Tilak Roushan stated that over 15 teams have been assembled to catch the suspects.
