Agitators arrested after invading Oyo government secretariat
by James Agberebi · The GuardianMen in military uniform who claimed to be Oodua Nation agitators were arrested on Saturday morning, after invading the government secretariat in Ibadan to hijack the Oyo State House of Assembly.
It was gathered that the agitators, armed with weapons, hoisted a flag within the Assembly premises.
Security personnel within the state secretariat called for backup to demobilise the agitators.

A combination of army, Police, and Amotekun personnel arrived at the secretariat with sporadic shots fired.
The agitators were later overpowered by the team of army, police, and Amotekun personnel.
The Oyo State Police Command is yet to confirm if there are any casualties from the clash.
