Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger State has declared a state of emergency on thuggery across the state, warning that government will not condone any form of criminal activity.

The governor of Niger state Umaru Mohammed Bago has vowed to deal with anyone threatening the public peace. He declared a state of emergency to that effect.
