A former BJP MLA in Karnataka has raised a massive controversy over his "one peg" swipe at the state Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar.

Taking a jibe at Laxmi Hebbalkar, BJP's Sanjay Patil said that the rise of BJP in Karnataka would make Hebbalkar worry a lot and suggested her to take "a sleeping pill or an extra peg to get a good night's sleep".
