Leinster v Northampton Saints at Croke Park: Date and kick-off time confirmed for semi-final

Champions Cup bosses reveal when tickets are to go on sale to the public

Leinster will host Northampton Saints at Croke Park in the Champions Cup semi-finals on Saturday, May 4 with a 5.30pm kick-off.

Leo Cullen's side decisively beat defending champions La Rochelle 40-13 at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday evening to ensure their place in the last four and tickets with go on sale to the public on Friday next for the 82,300 capacity Croke Park.

Leinster are seeking their fifth Champions Cup title but will have to go through the Premiership leaders, who beat Munster in the last 16 and the understrength Bulls in the last eight, to reach the final on May 25 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The move to Croke Park was confirmed last week as the Aviva Stadium is unavailable. The Lansdowne Road ground is being used by UEFA for the Europa League final.

It will be Leinster's second time to play at GAA Headquarters, having beaten Munster there in the 2009 Heineken Cup semi-finals.

The last time rugby featured at Croke Park was in the 2010 Six Nations, when Ireland played their home games at the venue.

Toulouse booked their place in the semi-finals with an impressive 64-26 home victory over Exeter Chiefs and will face Harlequins at Le Stadium de Toulouse on Sunday, May 5 at 3pm.
