Woods bites back
Vintage Tiger Woods!
The five-time champion endured somewhat of a rocky patch after bogeying the fourth and fifth, but he makes up for it at the sixth by making birdie to return to one-over for the tournament.

DeChambeau back underway
After his scintilating start on Thursday, Bryson DeChambeau has got his second round underway by finding the fairway at the first. He now has company at the top though, with Max Homa also reaching seven-under-par as his impressive start continues.

Homa snatches share of lead!
Homa clenches a fist in celebration and wags a finger at his caddie. Magnificent execution by the 33-year-old, who tallied a second birdie to start his second round. He is hot.
But Woods missed the green on the par-three four - and the 15-time major champion is punished. He is back at one-over.
16:20Andrew Gamble
Missed chance for Homa
Homa's birdie effort agonisingly misses the hole, and he saves par. That would have given him the lead. Tiger Woods ecures a birdie, moving to level par for the 2024 Masters. Can he make the cut?
Jason Day missed his chance at a birdie, settling for par instead.
Around the course, Hojgaard is struggling after a fine first round. He misses another makeable par putt, leading to another bogey as he slips to three-under.
16:07Andrew Gamble
Another bogey for Spieth
After starting his first round with a brutal double-bogey, 2015 champion Jordan Spieth misses a par putt and settles for a bogey.
Elsewhere, Shane Lowry made bogeys in two of his first three holes of his second round to drop to two-over. The Irishman has made par on each of his last three holes to stem the tide.
15:59Andrew Gamble
Charge back on for Homa
Woods perfectly lines up a birdie putt attempt, but it doesn't have enough behind it. He settles for par on the second.
Brilliant play from Homa has him eyeing a long eagle putt. It doesn't go, but he is comfortably in for birdie to move to six-under. He is back level with Scottie Scheffler and one shot off the lead.
Hojgaard's solid start to his second round has come undone, though. The Dane missed a very makeable par putt on the fifth, forcing him to settle for a bogey as he slips back into a tie for fourth.

Homa misses birdie chance as Tiger starts with par
Max Homa is looking to put the pressure on Bryson DeChambeau before the LIV Golf star tees off, and his birdie putt attempt on the first narrowly misses just right. He's in for par, though.
Jason Day and Tiger Woods both make par for a solid start to the second round.

European stars ticking along nicely
After a torrid end to his opening round, Tyrrell Hatton is back and better than ever as he birdies the second hole of his second round. Perhaps this will re-ignite the Englishman's spark as he sits at one-under.
Meanwhile, Nicolai Hojgaard - making his Masters debut, by the way - has secured three pars to open his second round.

Tiger's back for round two
Phew! Not much time for the fused body of Tiger Woods to rest as he gets his second round under way. He rips a solid drive and onto the fairway.
Jason Day drives his ball a tad further down the left, while Max Homa - who is in contention and five-under - has landed in the second cut.
Notable first round finish: Tommy Fleetwood tallies two bogeys on his final two holes to end level par after his opening round.

Second round underway
Not the best of rounds for Ryder Cup star Ludvig Aberg, as he finishes with a par to go one-over. Spieth finishes up seven-over.
But some players are teeing off their second rounds - and Nicolai Hojgaard is among them, holing out for par on the first to remain at five under.
With the opening round drawing to a close, it's worth pointing out that 26 of the past 30 Masters champions have been within five shots of the lead through the first 18. The likes of Hojgaard have it all to play for.
14:48Andrew Gamble
Harman in trouble
Brian Harman, the reigning Open champion, has endured a brutal first round. He only managed three pars since making the turn with the rest being either bogeys or double bogeys, finishing up at nine-over.
Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka closed out with a birdie to sit one-over while Tom Kim pars out to card a 72.
14:33Andrew Gamble
Bogeys to end for Woods, Homa and Day
Homa and Woods both find the bunker with wayward approach shots on the 18th. Homa recovers nicely, while Woods almost chips in - that would have sent the patrons into raptures.
It proves to be a brutal miss. Woods ends with another bogey to finish one-over, while Homa two putts for a bogey to end at five-under - level with Hojgaard. That was Homa's finest round at Augusta, and he is firmly in contention.
Day bogeys too, finishing his round three-over.
14:31Andrew Gamble
Misery for Spieth and Burns
Jordan Spieth scored a bogey-four on the 15th, which dropped him down to six-over with three holes still to play in his first round. Meanwhile, Sam Burns carded an eight-over round of 80 after finishing up with a double bogey.
14:10Andrew Gamble
Another birdie for Homa!
Here comes Homa! He nails his approach shot on the par-four 17th, tapping in to move level with Scottie Scheffler at six-under. He is now one behind DeChambeau with one hole to play in his opening round.
Day and Woods both save par.
Ahead of that group, Hatton closes out his opening round with a bogey that drops him back to level par. After a hot start, the Englishman unravelled on the back nine.

Homa moves into third-place
Both Woods and Homa clear the water and comfortably land onto the green to set up a chance for birdie on the par-three 16th. But it's not good news for Day, whose tee shot lands left and bounces into the water. He suffers a double-bogey, but Homa sinks his birdie to close in on DeChambeau as Woods makes par.
Hojgaard settled for par, carding a round of 67 to sit two behind Bryson DeChambeau. On the 14th, Aberg and Spieth both suffered bogeys to fall another shot back.
Meanwhile, Australian Cam Davis is the highest-placed player to have started their second round at Augusta. He parred the first to remain at three-under.
13:38Andrew Gamble
Par for Woods and co.
Pars all round on the 15th, with Homa, Day and Woods each getting in for five. Woods almost chipped in for birdie, but it wasn't to be while Day missed key birdie putt.
On the 18th, Nicolai Hojgaard fires an eight-iron up onto the back shelf of the green, which is where the pin is located. He has an outside chance to sink a birdie and move within one of leader Bryson DeChambeau.

Early birds still struggling for rhythm
Tyrrell Hatton is simmering with rage. The Englishman misses a birdie putt at the par-three 16th and immediately hurls his ball into the pond. Ludvig Aberg also missed a birdie chance on the 13th - but playing partner Jordan Spieth has pulled one back to move to one-over.
Meanwhile, Nicolai Hojgaard has steadily ticked along to sit five-under through 17 holes.
13:15Andrew Gamble
Trouble across the field
Elsewhere, Tyrrell Hatton starts poorly. The LIV Golf star finds the water en route to carding a double-bogey at the par-five 15th to drop to one-under.
Brooks Koepka missed a birdie putt from six feet at the 13th to stay level par. This early start is proving to be difficult for the field.
13:12Andrew Gamble
Bogey for Tiger
Tiger Woods gets a big cheer after finding the middle of the fairway. But he fails to get up and down while short of the 14th green, and he makes a bogey-five. Tough start for the icon, who drops to even par.
The par-five is up next. Perhaps Woods can snag a birdie here.

Day 2 of The Masters is underway!
It's not the second round, but Day 2 at Augusta has begun.
The likes of Tiger Woods, Tommy Fleetwood and Jordan Spieth have teed off in the last few minutes, resuming from where they left off yesterday.
Per Masters custom, the two halves of the tee times swap over which means some of the players finishing their opening rounds will have to head back out onto the luscious but unforgiving course around an hour later. This includes Woods.

Will Woods' body hold up during mammoth Friday?
Following years of surgeries and recoveries, Tiger Woods impressed throughout the opening round on Thursday. But he faces a marathon schedule on Friday amid a weather-affected Masters.
Woods was handed a late-early draw for the first two rounds at Augusta, only for weather to cause a two-and-a-half-hour delay. The 15-time major champion teed off with Jason Day and Max Homa at 3.54pm local time (8.54pm BST). The late start meant the group could only complete 13 holes before play was suspended.
This means Woods must play 23 holes today as he eyes making a record-breaking 24th consecutive cut at The Masters.

Darkness closing in
With the sun setting quickly on Augusta National, it appears there is just a matter of minutes left for those still out there competing. Most notably Tiger Woods is 12 holes into his opening round, and will be keen to get in as much golf as possible to avoid too much pressure on his body on day two.

Fleetwood marches on
Three-in-three for Tommy Fleetwood.
After parring his own six holes, Fleetwood has made his move up the leaderboard, finishing his front nine with three-straight birdies. He heads to the turn just four back of leader Bryson DeChambeau.
