Bayern Munich suffer fresh injury blow ahead of Arsenal Champions League tie
Latest Arsenal news as Bayern Munich's injury woes continue ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League clash with the Gunners
by Josh Holland · football.londonBayern Munich have suffered a huge injury blow ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League visit of Arsenal - despite making seven changes for their Bundesliga clash with FC Koln.
Thomas Tuchel rang the changes on Saturday with next week's second-leg with the Gunners in mind. The tie is currently level following Tuesday night's 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium.
Mikel Arteta's men travel to Germany on Wednesday looking to progress to the semi-final of the competition. Ahead of next week's clash, Bayern were forced to make a number of changes.
Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane were both ruled out beforehand while goalkeeper Manuel Neuer sat out with an adductor issue. Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala, Leon Goretzka and Konrad Laimer were all named on the bench.
However, Tuchel was handed a fresh injury scare after Kingsley Coman was forced off on Saturday afternoon. The forward, who played 24 minutes against Arsenal on Tuesday, was replaced by Musiala in the 50th minute with injury.
The France international was helped off the field by club physios before Bayern scored twice to go three points clear of VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga title.

News later emerged from L'Equipe that Coman has suffered an injury to his thigh and will miss a number of weeks. Should the report from France be true, it would mean Bayern could be without Coman, Gnabry, Sane, Davies and Coman for Wednesday's huge game.
