Three new Bayern Munich injuries confirmed as Thomas Tuchel facing Arsenal nightmare scenario
Arsenal and Bayern Munich's Champions League quarter-final tie hangs in the balance following Tuesday's 2-2 at the Emirates Stadium
by James Quinlan · football.londonThomas Tuchel has made seven changes for Bayern Munich's latest Bundesliga fixture - three of which were forced - with Arsenal set to travel there in the coming days.
The Gunners played out a fierce 2-2 draw with their German opponents in the Champions League quarter-final first leg in North London on Tuesday night. Bukayo Saka had opened the scoring before Serge Gnabry and Harry Kane found the net for the visitors, meaning Leandro Trossard was forced to salvage a draw in the second half.
It means both teams should have one eye on the fixture, which takes place on Wednesday, April 17, as they return to domestic league action this weekend. Arsenal's team news will only be known prior to kick-off against Aston Villa on Sunday, however the Bavarians' has arrived this afternoon ahead of their meeting with FC Koln.
Both Gnabry and Leroy Sane have both been ruled out entirely. The former picked up a hamstring issue at the Emirates Stadium and reportedly faces a number of weeks on the sidelines, while the latter aggravated the muscle problem that had kept him out of their previous league fixture.
Manuel Neuer is also missing from Bayern's squad with a fresh adductor issue - the last in a trio of potential boosts for Mikel Arteta's men.
"Manu reported adductor problems in training yesterday. He really wanted to play, but there was simply a residual risk," Tuchel told Sky Germany. "And there was no reason to take a residual risk today - especially if Ulle is fit. That was with a view to Wednesday, the risk is simply too great."

Alphonso Davies, who is suspended for the quarter-final second leg, has been named on the bench against Koln, as has Jamal Musiala, Leon Goretzka and Konrad Laimer.
Tuchel is suspended from the touchline for the match this afternoon, therefore his assistant Zsolt Low will stand in his place. They have brought in have brought Kingsley Coman, Mathys Tel, Sven Ulreich, Thomas Muller, Raphael Guerreiro and Aleksandr Pavlovic into the fold.
If they fail to win today, the Bundesliga title - and along with it Bayern's 11-year grip on the German top-flight - will go to Bayer Leverkusen. All Xabi Alonso's unbeaten side have to do is match the result of Tuchel's men.
