Mikel Arteta has received a significant injury boost ahead of Arsenal's upcoming match against Aston Villa. The Gunners are set to host Unai Emery's team at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with the Premier League title race heating up.

Gabriel Magalhaes

Gabriel Magalhaes picked up a knock against Brighton last weekend, but he returned to action on Tuesday night in the Champions League. The 26-year-old defender was also dealt a blow to the head by Harry Kane, but he seemed to be fine.

Jurrien Timber

The defender has been recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury he suffered back in August during the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest. His only other appearance came in the Community Shield against Manchester City.

He’s done everything in training now it’s about getting him match fit, having people around him and competing in a football match which is different to training.
