Punjab Kings' season of being there yet still not being enough continued in Mullanpur as they dragged the Rajasthan Royals to the last over despite having just 147 runs on the board. It was s slow wicket, contrary to everyone who thought otherwise and at one point Punjab Kings looked like they will struggle to get to 130 but Ashutosh Sharma's cameo helped them get to 147, which was decent but not match-winning. Rajasthan Royals made too many errors with the bat, after a brilliant show with the ball. They didn't get the batting order right, the likes of Tanush Kotian and Dhruv Jurel struggled and if not for a Shimron Hetmyer cameo at the end, the Kings bowlers had done enough to pull off a miraculous win.
