Serie A giants 'interested' in Man United star despite contract situation and more transfer rumours

Aaron Wan-Bissaka could leave Manchester United this summer with Erik ten Hag looking to bring in a new right-back

Inter Milan are said to be considering a move for Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

The full-back had his year-long contract extension triggered in January but could still be sold at the end of the season. Erik ten Hag has circled right-back as one of four positions he is looking to bolster this summer.

Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport says that Inter are very keen on the 26-year-old, who arrived at United for £50m in 2019. It claims that club chiefs spoke to Wan-Bissaka’s agents last year about a move and could make an official approach during the next window.

This is because Inter are expected to sell Denzel Dumfries this summer with just over 12 months remaining on his deal. The club wish to reap a fee for the Dutchman rather than allow him to leave for free next year, and Aston Villa are linked with an interest.

Meanwhile, TEAMtalk states that United have made an approach for Fulham star Tosin Adarabioyo. However, they are not the only club to hold an interest with Tottenham said to be spying a move for the former Manchester City product.

United are expected to look to hunt for a centre-half this summer with Raphael Varane poised to leave at the end of the season upon the expiry of his contract. The 26-year-old has played 23 matches this season, keeping six clean sheets and scoring twice.

What may be attracting United is the fact that the 6ft 5in defender is out of contract this summer so will not cost a transfer fee. Fulham are prepared to table a fresh deal for Adarabioyo before the end of the season, so United may wish to touch base with the talent before long.
